Eli Graham, son of James and Milley Graham, married Nancy Keen 13 January 1853 in Laurens County, Georgia.
He was a farmer and also served as court bailiff.

He enlisted in Dublin, Laurens, Georgia on 1 December 1862 and served in Company H, 14th Georgia Infantry.

He was wounded on 12th May 1864 at Spotsylvania Court House and died of his wounds there on 9 June 1864.
He left a wife and 8 children.
His record says he had "Distinguished Service."
