Ann H. McClure, age 87, formerly of Woodstown, passed peacefully from this earthly life at the home of her son, Ed McClure of Frankfort, KY, on Monday, November 15th, 2010.
She was born in Salem County, to parents Paul & Hannah Harris. She graduated from Salem High School and Goldey Beacom Business College. She was previously married to Paul McClure and they owned and ran McClure's Carpet and Furniture Store. She learned to drive 2-ton trucks for the Red Cross during the war effort and then later in life worked for the Salem Co. Red Cross as a bookkeeper, retiring from there at the age of 82. When she moved to Woodstown, she opened Monograms by Ann. She was a D.A.R. and a member of Quinton United Methodist Church.
Ann enjoyed people. She enjoyed entertaining people in her home, traveling with them, and doing things to help others. She was true to her faith and passed that down to her family. She was an 18-year resident of the Snelbaker home in Woodstown.
