Louise Karm Dies Friday Evening
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Baker Funeral home for Louis Karm, who died at the Crews hospital at 8:30 p.m. Friday following a long illness.
The Rev. J. Earl Bryant, pastor of the First Baptist church, will conduct the final rites with burial to follow in the City cemetery.
Mr. Karm was born in Arneckeville on January 19, 1874. His parents were Anton and Thresa Hotz Karm, natives of Colmar, France.
He was a machinist and cabinet maker and had lived for many years at 1010 St. John Street, Gonzales. He was married to the former Arzella Anderson for over 57 years, and was a member of the First Baptist church.
Survivors inclde his wife, one sister, Mrs. Lena Fulenchak of Edna and several nieces and nephews.
