He was born Feb. 19, 1931, in Oklahoma City, the middle son of Montia Robbins and Sena Mae (Barnard) Robbins.
He married Melba Charlene Golden on May 10, 1952.
He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Japan during the Korean conflict.
After his military service, he worked for Meadow Gold Dairy as a delivery man, covering Shawnee and the surrounding areas.
He retired in 1995 after working for more than 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother, Otis Robbins.
Survivors include one daughter, Ronda Rene Parker and husband, David, of Deer Creek; son, Randy Ray Robbins and wife, Peggy, of Earlsboro; four grandchildren, Tony Robbins of Earlsboro, Charla French and husband, Jeff, of Shawnee, Kelley Parker of Deer Creek and Kimberly Parker of Deer Creek; one brother, Carl Robbins of Shawnee; several nieces and nephews, including two that he raised, Bo Robbins of Earlsboro and Suzie Mercer of Midland, Texas; several foster children and other relatives.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Larry Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
