Spec. 4/c U.S. Army, {US54800152}, Vietnam War-Spec. Treest died of his wounds on 7-5-1967 while serving as a Medical Corpsman with the HHC of the 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. Spec. Treest started his tour of Vietnam on 11-23-1966.

Spec. Treest is the son of Mr. Donald & Mrs. Edna {Allison} Treest of R.R. #1, Marseilles, Illinois, and he leaves two brothers Gordon & Steve Treest, and three sisters, Miss Bonnie, Miss Debbie, and Miss Allison Treest.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Combat Medical Badge, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal.
