Jeff P. Rose, 67 years old of Antioch, IL passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at his home. He was born January 16, 1943 in Detroit, MI , the son of the late Robert and Patricia (Baumgardner) Rose. He grew up in Glen Ellyn, and had lived in Chicago and North Chicago before moving to Antioch in 2000. Jeff served in the US Navy from 1961 until 1965. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed golfing and bowling. Before his retirement in 1998, he worked for 35 years for various commodity companies; including the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade. On January 2, 1993 he married Noel Menard in North Chicago, IL. Survivors include his wife, Noel; his brother, Eric (Terri Hertel) of Mundelein, IL; his brother-in-law, Paul Krystal of Park Ridge, IL and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin-sister, Jennifer Krystal. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday November 6, 2010 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St.(Rte 83). Private interment of his ashes, with Military Honors, will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie, IL.
