She married George William Edwards, son of the preacher of a small chapel in Worcester, in 6th Jul 1876 at St John the Baptist, Claines, Worcestershire, England. George seems to have disappeared and Caroline followed some of her children to Canada

She was born in Birmingham and attended Bluecoat school
