Winnie P. Goode, 96, of Paxton, formerly of Farmer City, passed away at 5:20 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 26, 2014) at the Paxton Health Care and Rehab Center, Paxton.
She was born March 27, 1918 in Nancy, Kentucky to Elmer and Ollie Floyd Gaines. She married Lonnie Henderson on Oct. 10, 1938. He passed away on Feb. 22, 1968. She later married Hobert Goode on Sept. 10, 1971 in Covington, Indiana. He passed away on Oct. 28, 1985.
Survivors include two sons, James Avery (Alice) Henderson and Charles Eugene (Karen) Henderson; two daughters, Lorene Crisman and Louise (Bob) Bradbury; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Vestal and Leonard Gaines.
