Mr. Edwin Davison Fore Jr; age 94, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 in Atmore, AL.
Mr. Fore was a lifelong resident of the Robinsonville, AL. area. He was a member, deacon and held various offices at Robinsonville Baptist Church. He was a member of Carney Masonic Lodge 549, Scottish Rite. He was the rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 31 years. He worked at "Fore's Store" for 15 years. He was a WWII Veteran with U.S. Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Davison (Carrie Anna) Fore Sr; his wife of 55 years Hazel Fore, one daughter Brenda Armstrong, two brothers, Earl and Steve Fore, one granddaughter Elizabeth Ruth Johnson, one sister, Nancy Miles.
He is survived by one daughter, Peggy Johnson of Deland, FL; one brother Kenneth (Lori) Fore of Cape Canaveral, FL; four grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC with Rev. Phil Johnson officiating.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 25, 2021 from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM at the Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC.
Burial will follow at Robinsonville Baptist Church Cemetery
