Services will be held Saturday for Fred M. Smith, 81, of Ingram, who passed away Feb. 27 in the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital. Rev. Paul McClung will officiate at services at 3 p.m. in the Grimes Funeral Chapel and interment will follow in the Nichols Cemetery.
He had lived in Kerr County for 56 years and was a prior resident of Tahoka. He was retired from the Test Fleet and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors: wife, Mrs. Ruth Smith; two daughters, Alene Cantwell and Sarah Fairchild of Arlington; two sons, Robert "Sonny" Smith of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Doug Smith of San Angelo; 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
