Jeanne Marie Heil, 68, of 2073 Swamp Road, Richmond, and Naples, Fla., died Tuesday, November 3, at Boston Medical Center of colon cancer. Born in Pittsfield, October 3, 1941, daughter of Marie Bianchi Belanger and Edward Belanger, she was a 1959 graduate of Pittsfield High School and attended the former Berkshire Business College. Mrs. Heil had been employed as a secretary for General Electric Co. in its Power Transformer Dept., for General Dynamics, and for G.E. Plastics. She retired in 1996 with 12 years service. She was a communicant of St. Charles Church. She enjoyed sewing, and being with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brother, Mark Belanger. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 7, at 8:15 a.m., from DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at St. Charles Church, celebrated by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Heil may be made to the American Cancer Society
in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
