Marie Davidson, 96, of New Boston PA, passed away Sunday,
October 26th, suddenly, at her residence. .
Marie was born in Locust Valley, on February 17, 1918, a daughter of the late Mary (Manion) and John Ward.
She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mahanoy
City.
Marie had worked at Russell Williams Dress Factory Mahanoy City.,
Attended the former St. Fidelis School.
She belonged to the St. Canicus Woman’s Guild.
She was the wife of the late Elmer Davidson.
Marie is survived by a son, James, husband of Tina Davidson, of Mahanoy City.
Marie is also survived by 13 grandchildren 16 great grand children, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by son Elmer, and daughters Patricia Saladigo, and Marie Boyle. A grandson Paul Saladigo and great grandson Zackary Hess.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA, with Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher officiating.
Interment was in the German Protestant Cemetery Mahanoy City,
PA.
