Portales - Funeral services for Bernice Mansfield Green, 85, were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Second Street Church of Christ. Mr. Green died about 6:50 p.m., Thursday in the Hospitality Home in Clovis. Officiating was Tommy Hargis, pastor, assisted by Doug Hale. Burial was in the Portales Cemetery. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. F.M. Gandy of Lubbock, Tex., Mrs. Thelma Bryant of Indio, Calif., Mrs. M.C. Gandy of Tatum, Mrs. Charley Bryant of Eldorado, Okla., and Mrs. Clarence Thompson of Floyd; three sons, Wilton Green of Lovington, Oran Green of Amarillo, Tex., and Beryl Green of Monmouth, Ore.; one step-sister, Mrs. Jimmie Roland of Cordell, Okla.; four brothers, Dave Green of Cordell, Okla., Joe Green of Canyon, Tex., Lee Green of Alamogordo, and Lloyd Green of Roswell; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
