Oscar Wallace Ala 76, Easton, a longtime resident of Leavenworth County died Wednesday evening. He had been in failing health the past four years. Mr Ala was born in Easton Jan 30 1888 the son of Thomas and Mary Ala. He attended schools in Easton, and was married to Mabel Bristow in Boiling on July 20,1910. They farmed in the Easton Community. He was a lifelong member of the Easton Methodist Church. Surviving are the widow Mrs. Mabel Ala of the home, one daughter Mrs Helen Sass, Easton; one son Wallace Eugene Ala, 800 Middle; two brothers, Herman Ala, Easton, and Judson Ala, Barry, Ill; six grandchildren and three grandchildren.
