Mrs. Seay is survived by her two daughters; her son and son-in-law. She has eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandson. Mrs. Seay had an extensive family with many loved ones and was cherished by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Seay; daughter, Twana Seay Duhon; daughter-in-law, Deannie Parker Seay; brother, Leroy Barbier, and her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, October 29 in St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church of Hackberry. The Rev. Gijo Ikkaramattom will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 - 8 pm, with a rosary at 7 pm in the church hall at St. Peters. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 11:30 am.
