Elizabeth was the daughter of William Maulsby-Maltby and Mary Roades.

In 1710, Elizabeth Maltby signed the marriage certificate of Jennis Williams and Edward David, along with other Maltby and Williams family, including her mother Mary Roades Maltby Williams, and future husband Rees Williams.

Elizabeth married Rees Williams (son of David Williams) circa 1714 probably at Plymouth Meeting House, Philadelphia County, PA.

Her death was recorded at Kennett MM in Chester Co, PA:

"Elizabeth Williams the Widdow of Rees Williams of __ of (left blank) was the Daughter of (left blank) Molsby near Schyulkill in Philadelphia County Pennsylvania, The Same to Kennett above in Year 1755. She departed this Life the 13th of 1st month 1759."
