Sharon Sue Nicholson, 74, of Bedford died at 3:45 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at Garden Villa, Bedford.
Born March 28, 1940, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Oma Victor and Dorothy Fields.
She married Melvin Nicholson on March 3, 1962; he died Sept. 16, 1995.
She was a member of Dive Christian Church, Bedford, and was a homemaker.
Surviving are four sons, Melvin (Lisa) Nicholson, Jr., Massachusetts; Otis (Michelle) Nicholson, Georgia; Jerry (Deana) Nicholson, Indiana; and Brian Nicholson, Georgia; one daughter, Terri (Terry) Kidd, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Craig Nicholson, Christina Nicholson, Otis Nicholson Jr., Travis Kidd, Devin Nicholson, Hunter Moore, Zander Nicholson and Cody Nicholson; two brothers, Larry Fields and Bill Fields, both of Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, in infancy, and one brother, Bob Fields.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at Dive Christian Church with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Dive Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church.
Services are under the direction of Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
