On February 23, 2009, Lillian Piper Farmer, Bladensburg High School Teacher for over 25 years and beloved wife of the late Wilfred Farmer.

She is survived by her loving children; Fred Farmer and wife Susan, Bruce Farmer and wife JoAnn, Susan Mathre, Elizabeth Hunt and husband Gordon, her grandchildren Robert, Jean and Peg, Alex, Ian, Clay, Erin and great-granddaughter, Aylie.

Family received friends on Saturday February 28th at WITZKE FUNERAL HOME, INC., Columbia, Maryland. A 12:00 P.M., Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Interment to follow in Mission Burial Park North. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
