Mr. Rowland was a native of Cherokee County and was the son of the late Anthony Thomas Rowland and the late Ollie Passmore Rowland. Thomas proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy for four years and was also a 32nd Degree Mason.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lillian Mann Scott Rowland, who passed away January 27, 2014; his son, Tommy David Rowland and an infant son, Ronny Rowland; brothers, Wayne, Willard, Neal, Gay and Americus Rowland; sisters, Etta Forrister, Grovie Coffey, and Lois Pisczek.
He is survived by his step-daughter, three step-sons, five step-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014 in Crawford / Ray Memorial Gardens in Clyde with military honors.
