Craig was deeply sensitive and a delightful conversationalist. He loved music and poetry, and was devoted to his family. He grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, but moved with his family to Atlanta in 1985. He graduated from UGA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and played the drums for a jazz ensemble which performed in Little Five Points. For many years, he worked in his father's home repair business and helped to care for his mother during her prolonged battle with breast cancer.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 7, 11:00 a.m. at the Floral Hills Funeral Home on Lawrenceville Highway. Burial will take place the next day at 1:00 p.m. in the Marshallville City Cemetery behind the Methodist Church in Marshallville, GA. It was when visiting with his family at his grandparent's home in Marshallville, that Craig was most happy and at peace.
He will be greatly missed.
