Harold H. Dunlap, 84, Bellmeade, died early Wednesday morning at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Houtzdale son of the late Roy and Ellen (Mayhue) Dunlap.
Surviving are his wife, Naomi B. (Jones) of Tyrone; three sons, Roy (Kaye) of Altoona, Bruce (Tina) of Bellwood and Michael Taylor of Monument, Co.; four grandchildren, Jeremy, Mike, Sarah and Alex; and Ann Loibl with whom he resided.
He was the last of his immediate family preceded in death by eight siblings.
Harold retired in 1992 as an electrician at Conrail after 40 years of service. He was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Harold enjoyed attending air shows, hunting, fishing , attending his grandsons, Alex and Jeremy’s baseball games and holiday gatherings with his family.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2014 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, the Rev. David H. Roesch officiating. Interment with military honors will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to National Parkinson’s Foundation
