LANCASTER -- Mr. Nathaniel "Nate" Edward Griffin, 24, of 3380 Cedar Circle died Monday, March 27, 2006, at home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Indian Land Baptist Church in Fort Mill, with the Rev. Benny Green officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Griffin was a son of Edgar B. Griffin and Kathy Boyd Griffin. He was employed at B&R Body Shop in Charlotte and was a member of Indian Land Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Heather Miller Griffin; three sons, Caleb Griffin, Ashton Griffin and Dawson Griffin, all of the home; two brothers, Scott Boyd of Charlotte and Chris Griffin of Lancaster; his paternal grandmother, Mary Agnes Griffin of Indian Land; his paternal grandfather, George Griffin III of Waxhaw, N.C.; his maternal grandmother, Annie K. Boyd of Pineville, N.C.; and his paternal great-grandfather, George Griffin Jr. of Lancaster. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Indian Land Baptist Church and other times at home. Memorials may be made to Indian Land Baptist Church, 7583 Charlotte Highway, Fort Mill, SC 29715. Wolfe Funeral Home of Fort Mill is in charge.
