LANCASTER -- Mr. Nathaniel "Nate" Edward Griffin, 24, of 3380 Cedar Circle died Monday, March 27, 2006, at home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Indian Land Baptist Church in Fort Mill, with the Rev. Benny Green officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Griffin was a son of Edgar B. Griffin and Kathy Boyd Griffin. He was employed at B&R Body Shop in Charlotte and was a member of Indian Land Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Heather Miller Griffin; three sons, Caleb Griffin, Ashton Griffin and Dawson Griffin, all of the home; two brothers, Scott Boyd of Charlotte and Chris Griffin of Lancaster; his paternal grandmother, Mary Agnes Griffin of Indian Land; his paternal grandfather, George Griffin III of Waxhaw, N.C.; his maternal grandmother, Annie K. Boyd of Pineville, N.C.; and his paternal great-grandfather, George Griffin Jr. of Lancaster. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Indian Land Baptist Church and other times at home.
