Troy Proctor, 75, of Broken Bow, died this morning in Idabel. He was born Jan. 25, 1918, in Broken Bow, and had lived in this area all of his life. He was retired from the Bunte Candy Company of Oklahoma City.
He was a veteran of World War II and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Proctor in 1990, and two brothers, Cecil and Cliney Proctor.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Wendell and Dian Proctor of Yukon; three grandchildren, Terri Elledge, Bruce Proctor and Timothy Proctor, all of Yukon; and one great-grandchild, Colton Elledge of Yukon.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Norwood, Coffey-Leonard Chapel in Broken Bow with Rev. Don Batchelor officiating. Burial will be in Hochatown Cemetery under direction of Norwood, Coffey-Leonard Funeral Home of Broken Bow.
