She was born in Macon County, the daughter of the late Paul Lee and Eugenia Mae Teem Ashe. She was a homemaker, and a seamstress, she loved gardening and was a selfless and dependable mother. She was a member of Iotla Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, of Franklin, NC, a sister, of Franklin, NC, two brothers, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25th at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home, with Rev. Barry Bowman officiating. Burial will be in Wilkes Cemetery.
