Son of Charles "Chub" Miller and
Amelia "Emily" DeAngelo Miller.

Darryl lived the majority of his life in Butler.

He was a 1976 graduate of Butler High School.
He also graduated from the Pittsburgh Barber Academy of Pittsburgh. His lifelong profession was a barber, and he owned his own shops in Butler and Castle Towne Square in Pittsburgh.

He most recently worked at the Point Barber Shop in Butler for the past nine years and for three years in the earlier part of his career.

Darryl loved cooking and considered himself a gourmet chef.

He especially enjoyed spending time at his parent's camp in Sigel, Jefferson County, with his family.

He also loved traveling.

Darryl loved the casinos, especially the slots, and was an excellent blackjack player.

He was an avid BlueSox fan and enjoyed the Steelers and the Penguins.

Darryl was a mentor and active sponsor to many at the local AA chapter. He was the first to help a friend in need. His biggest asset was his kindness and willingness to help anyone. Darryl loved his family. He was a devoted son, brother and uncle.

Surviving are his father, his brothers, and his sister.
He is also survived by two nephews, three nieces, two great-nephews and one great-niece.

He leaves behind many dear friends and the family dog, "Maggie." He and Maggie just loved each other.

Preceded in death by his mother, Amelia "Emily" Miller, who died in 2005.

Visitation at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler. The Rev. James W. Dolan, pastor, will officiate.

Interment will be at St. Michael Cemetery.
