Rabbi Isaac Newman was the Chaplain of the Royal Airforce in the 1950's, then rabbi of dalston Syngaogue from 1958-1967 and of the Barnet Synagogue from 1969-1989. Following his retirement he moved to Jerusalem where he was one of the founders of rabbis for Human Rights.
