Roger grew up in the Flatonia area. He served proudly in the USMCR. He graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a degree in Commercial/Industrial Art. He was a talented artist, craftsman and woodworker who greatly enjoyed his life in the country. He spent much of his time outdoors tending to his beautiful grass and loving his dogs and his pet deer. He had a passion for hummingbirds so his youngest grandson called him a hummingbird farmer .
Graveside services and interment celebrating his life will be held at Precious Memory Cemetery located on the family ranch 288 Lively Rd. on Monday October 27th beginning at 4pm.Officiating the service: David & Travis Lively
