Patricia A. Houston, 66, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully with her family at her side Friday Sept. 13, 2013 at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie.
She was born on April 22, 1947 in Chicago Ill. She was the daughter of the late Edmund and Emily (Rakowski) Kazmierski. Patricia was educated in the schools of Chicago. Patricia was employed for 13 years as an E.V.S. tech by Carthage College. Patricia loved watching concerts, reading, flowers, animals, she did cat rescues and was a Green Bay Packers fan.
Survivors include 2 children: Shannon Houston and Shawn (Lisa) Houston of Kenosha, brother Stanley (Susan) Kazmierski of Hammond Indiana and sister Celeste Mercado of Hobart Indiana, 2 grandchildren Blake Kazmierski and Victoria Houston. Patricia is survived by nieces and nephews: Sonya (Sergio)Valdez, Sondra (Gartell) Howard, Stanley Kazmierski Jr., Elizabeth Mercado, Raymond (Madelyn) Mercado, Theresa (Herman) Delgado and 18 great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Wednesday Sept. 18, 2013 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Kenosha Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
