Prayers for Mrs. Gertrude S. Huesman, 81, 718 Oakwood Drive, who died Thursday, will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 S. Third St. Mass of the Christian Burial, 10 a.m. Monday in St. Peter-in-Chains Church. Burial, St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation, 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Huesman was born in Hamilton to Charles and Catherine Lagedrost Schroeder and lived in Hamilton her entire life. She was educated in the St. Stephen Parochial School. She worked for Western Union for 15 years and for over 50 years was active in the operation of Al-Joe's Pet and Garden Store. She was a member of Knights of Columbus; Auxiliary Daughters of Isabel Circle 200; Oda-Loda Club; Mercy Hospital Auxiliary; Kiwanis Auxiliary; St. Peter-in Chains Church, and the Altar Rosary Society of that parish. She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Charles (Jeannie) Reid, and Mrs. Paul (Carol) Grollmus, both of Hamilton; sister Mrs. Charles (Irene) Durst, Skokie, Ill.; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
