Serena June (Crain) Williams, slipped away peacefully in the early morning hours of October 10, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Mom was born to Claire (Martin) and Quincy Crain on June 29, 1930 in Kingman, Arizona. She had an older brother Quincy, and a younger sister, Arleen. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and sister, and her husband Raymond W. Williams. Mom is survived by her husband Richard (Glen) Williamson; her children, Bruce (Jolene) Williams, Susan (Mike) Spotorno, Cindy (Jim) Lieberg, Cassie Williams and Byron Williams; sixteen grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Those who knew mom will remember her as a kind and caring person with a great sense of humor. You always knew where you stood with mom; she never hesitated to speak her mind. Mom loved playing Keno, one of her favorite pastimes. Mom also was a great cook and loved to share her meals and recipes with her family. Mom, we love you and will miss you forever and ever. Until we meet on the flip-side, our memories of the good times will get us through. Private family services will be held with Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home and Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
