Carmela Ann Estrada
Carmela Ann Estrada of Montgomery , a homemaker and life long resident of the area, entered into rest, with her loving family at her side, on Friday, October 13, 2006 in Newburgh. She was 71.
The daughter of the late Vincent Manco and Ausunta Addonizio she was born April 13, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY. At the age of 10, she and her parents moved to Mongomery and learned the life of farming.
Carmela married Luis and her life became complete. Married for 50 years, together they raised 7 children. Carmela was a gental, kind woman who devoted her life to her family and her church. A wife, a mother, an excellent cook, a best friend; Carmela will be missed deeply.
She was a member of St. Mary's Church.
Survivors include her husband , Luis Estrada of Montgomery, sons, Vincent Estrada of New Jersey , Ralph Estrada and wife April of Florida, Luis Estrada jr and wife Debra of Montgomery, and John Estrada of Montgomery. daughters , Susie Miller and husband Mike of Montgomery, and Florinda Estrada of Cortland, NY; Aunt, Yippie Orientale of Brooklyn, NY, brothers , Anthony and wife Angela Manco of Middletown and Stephen Nusay of Montgomery; cousin, Stanley Della Gatta and wife Dawn of Middletown; 23 grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and several nieces and Nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Raymond V. Estrada.
Visitation will be Sunday October 15, 2006 from 7 - 9 pm and on Monday, October 16, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Ovenhiser Funeral Home 78 Union St. Montgomery.
A mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 10am at Mary Church in Montgomery.
