Businessman. Pioneer builder of hand carved wooden carousels in United States. After carving and building carousels in Germany with his father, started his own carousel company in 1867 in Germantown area of Philadelphia.
Made with high quality standards and craftsmanship, several Dentzel carousels are still operating today.
