Thomas HUCKINS (1617c-1679) came to Boston in 1635.

Thomas HUCKINS name appears sixth on the original muster roll of the Artillery Co. at Barnstable in 1637, and he was Commissary General of the Plymouth Colonial forces in King Philip's War. NEW ENGLAND GENEALOGICAL and HISTORICAL REGISTER, v.51,p.76.

Thomas HUCKINS was the Standard Bearer of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery, in Boston, in 1639. Mackenzie, George Norbury, COLONIAL FAMILIES OF THE UNITED STATES, v.5, p.35.

Thomas HUCKINS married first in 1642, to Mary WELLS, dau. of Isaac WELLS of Barnstable, Mass. They had children: Mary HUCKINS married Samuel STORRS; Lydia, died in infancy; and Elizabeth, died in infancy.
