Funeral Services will be held 2 pm, Sunday October 26, 2014, at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverend Ryan Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens with a private graveside committal service. The family will greet friends prior to service, at the funeral home.
Becky was born July 31, 1932, in Columbia, SC. She was the daughter of the late Frank Van Keuren and the late Ruby Joye Van Keuren. She was a graduate of Dreher High School. She was a volunteer worker and past activity director at Bamberg Nursing Home. She was a very active member of First Baptist Church, Orangeburg, SC where she volunteered and served on numerous committees. Becky was past Officer of the Palmetto Garden Club, past board member of the South Carolina Lung Association, and a member of the Junior Service League. She started Miller Welcoming Service.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Debbie M. Way (Buster) and Mrs. Dodie M. Riley (Mike), all of Orangeburg, and Mrs.Cindy M. Odom (Pat) of Irmo; eight grandchildren, Shawna, Kristen, Cassi, Jessica, Paige, Jordan, Cory and Cody; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Joye Floyd (Frank) and Mrs. Margaret Benthall, all of Columbia.
Memorials may be made in Becky's memory to First Baptist Church, 1240 Russell Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115 or a charity of one's choice.
Friends will be welcomed at the home of Dodie Riley for condolences.
