Ashley Brooke Bachman, 36, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 23, 2014, in Texarkana, Texas. She was born November 24, 1977 in Eldorado, Arkansas, the daughter of Walter and Lou Ann Smith.

She had lived in Broken Bow since 1979 moving here from Crossett, Arkansas. Ashley and David Bachman were united in marriage on May 18, 1997 at the Good News Fellowship Church in Broken Bow. Ashley enjoyed life, loved her Lord and was a very dedicated member of the First Baptist Church in Broken Bow. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She had earned a Bachelors degree in Accounting and a Masters Degree in Library Science. Ashley was employed with the Holly Creek School as a music and art teacher and was looking forward to being the librarian this year.

Ashley loved meeting people and was a sales representative for Premier Jewelry. She enjoyed music, going to the movies, working on crafts and traveling with her family. She loved being a member of Sisters In Spirit at First Baptist Church and cherished her time with her friends.

Ashley was preceded in death by, grandparents, Matt and Chloe Miesner and Alonzo and Helen Smith; uncles, George David Smith, Donald G. Miesner, Charles H. Miesner and Matthew A. Miesner.
