Mr. Brandon J. Gilbert, age 22, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, from the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born on June 1, 1977, in Fort Walton Beach, Brandon was the son of Mary Lourie of Fort Walton Beach and Lonnie Gilbert of Foley, Ala. He is survived by his parents, sisters Lona Gilbert and Peggy Marion, both of Fort Walton Beach and his maternal grandparents, Peggy and Joseph Oliver, also of Fort Walton Beach.

Brandon graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 1995 and then served three years in the U.S. Army. He was presently attending OWCC, after having been honorably discharged from the military.

Known to all who knew him as a kind-hearted and loving person, Brandon will be sorely and forever missed by his family and many friends.

Funeral services for Brandon will be held Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at 10 a.m. at the Emerald Coast Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joseph Rogers. Burial will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery on Beal Parkway. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday evening, Dec. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
