Rev. James E. McGonagle Jr. was born in 1919 as the son of the late James E. and Helen G. (Walsh) McGonagle. He is survived by two sisters, Mary C. McGonagle of Boston, Sr. Helen Mary McGonagle, C.S.J. of Brighton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers; Joseph G., William J., A. Vincent and Gerard J. McGonagle. He was ordained a Redemptorist priest in 1944. He spent most of his priestly life in the Southeast United States. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Reverend James McGonagle passed away on October 18, 2014, he was 95 years of age.
