Funeral services for Orlan B. Haskins, 64, were held at 2 pm Monday at Clinkenbeard Chapel with the Rev. Tom Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Thornfield cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Ozark County, Mr. Haskins died at 7 am, Dec. 5 at his home following a short illness. He was a farmer and a member of the General Baptist Church.
Born Dec. 23, 1922, at Hammond, he was the son of Charlie and Effie Nooncaster Haskins. He married Mary L. Casto on Nov. 1, 1946, in Idaho. Mrs. Haskins survives.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Mary, are one son, Earl D. Sr., Noble; five sisters, Mrs. Helen Harley, Hartville, Mrs. Pauline Turner, Wasola, Mrs. Mary Turner, Kansas City, Mrs. Doris Robinett, Little Rock, Ark., and Mrs. Frieda Myers, Ocie; and four grandchildren.
One sister and one brother preceded him in death.
