Lola Mae McEntire age 71, of Sayre passed away Thursday, May 27 in Sayre Memorial Hospital. Memorial services were Saturday, May 29 at 2:00 p.m. in the Rose Chapel sanctuary with George Ridley & Joe Clark officiating. Burial was performed in the Sayre-Doxey Cemetary under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Services of Sayre.

Lola was born on Febuary(sic) 19, 1911 in Burns Flat,(sic) Oklahoma. She moved with her parents in 1914 to Carter were(sic) she maintained residence until 1947 when she moved to Sayre to make her final home. Lola was a member of the Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and 8 brothers. Survivors in her family are 1 daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Paula) Newby of Sayre, 1 granddaughter, Leah; 1 brother, Grane McEntire of Sayre and 1 sister Minnie Nobles of Sayre.
