WEST COLUMBIA - Johnny Sewood Bowen passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the chapel at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the funeral home.
Johnny Sewood Bowen, born December 3, 1971 in Statesboro, GA, lived his life in West Columbia, SC.
Johnny was a graduate of the University of South Carolina where he received a B.A. in accounting. He went on to flourish as an account executive at Honeywell and also enjoyed real estate sales.
Johnny Bowen is survived by his son, Will Bowen; parents, June and Johnny Bowen; sister, Lisa (Tony) Verano and their children, Brandon and Landon Verano; brother, Jesse (Aimee) Bowen and their daughters, Ava and Sophia Bowen; and his dearly loved one, Melissa Irick.
