She was born in Texarkana, Texas, on April 1, 1987, and attended the Assembly of God Church of Horatio. She enjoyed country music, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her biological mother, Lorissa Vickers Douglas, and her great-grandfather, Claude Dorsey.
She is survived by her mother of De Queen, three sisters and brothers-in-law, her biological grandparents, of De Queen, her great-grandmother of De Queen, and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other family members.
Funeral Services for April Taylor will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 24, 2014 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joey Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Redmen Cemetery. The family will received friends at Chandler Funeral Home on Thursday, October 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
