CLARENCE DOMINICK

Clarence (Diz) Dominick who lived at the Lynn Apartments in LeMars, passed away at the Sacred Heart Hospital in LeMars on November 30, 1956, following a short illness.

Mr. Dominick became sick while working as a bartender at the Hub in LeMars and was taken to the hospital.

Mr. Dominick was born September 7, 1918, here. He had been a lifetime resident of the community. On July 9, 1948, he was united in marriage with Betty Shorey in Sioux City. At the time of his death he was 38 years, 2 months, and 23 days of age.

Services will be today, December 3, at 9:00 a.m. at the Wiltgen-Luedtke funeral home. Military services were conducted at the city cemetery where interment took place.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; his mother, Mrs. John Dominick of LeMars; four brothers, Walter of Struble, Joseph of Grand Junction, Colorado, Phillip of Huron, South Dakota, Clifford of Minnesota and Leo of LeMars; sisters, Mrs. John Shearon, Sr., Mrs. Peter Feller and Mrs. Carl Braun, all of LeMars. He was preceded in death by his father, John Dominick.

Aalfs-Baker Mfg. Co. was closed Monday morning so that co-workers with Mrs. Dominick could attend last rites. Mrs. Dominick is floor lady at that plant.

Pallbearers were Leonard Wiltgen, Bailus Holland, James Hardacre, Jack Rickabaugh, Don Rollinger and Brick Weidenfeller.
