She was born on August 7, 1925 to the late Frank and Carrie Fields. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Wayne Thomas Fields and six sisters, Helen Netterville, Louise Gunn, Corrine Davis, Jessie Mae Fields, Weaver (Mut)Fields and Roger Lee Coleman.
Surviving her are one brother, Barney (Lucille) Fields; two daughters, Barbara Harris and Bobbiette Fields: two sons, Alvin Fields and Barney Fields and five generations of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was employed as a Traffic Court Clerk in Chicago, retiring after 25 years of service.
