Romulus: Susan Anita Parsons of Romulus passed away at home on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the age of 63. Sue was born in Ithaca on November 13, 1950, a daughter of the late Allen and Jeanette (Williams) Young. She had a long career with Tompkins Trust Company working as a secretary in the commercial loans office. Sue expressed her artistic side through writing poetry and enjoyed going to plays and music festivals. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Sue is survived by her husband, Dale Parsons; three children, Kimberly (Todd) Wyckoff, Rick Bryant, and Kevin (Kaitlin) Bryant; two step sons, Chad (Patty) Parsons and Darren Parsons; six grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Wendt. The family will be present to receive friends from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Prayers of committal will follow after the service in Ovid Union Cemetery.
