Julius W. Draughn, 77, died Wednesday night at a Wise, VA hospital after a long illness.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Ira V. Draughn, Seabroow, MD; Clyde Draughn, Washington, DC; and Julius L Draughn, Oklahoma City, Okla.; ten daughters, Mrs. Ruby Miller, Roanoke; Mrs. Lillian Frazier, Burwine, W. VA; Mrs. Edith Prechard, Washington, DC; Mrs. Dorothy Tucker, Ashboro, NC; Mrs. Emogene Brickey, Ash Camp, KY; Mrs. Helen Hamilton, Pound, VA; Mrs. Betty Jo Vanover, Annandale, VA; Mrs. Delanah Short, Pound,VA; Mrs. Ida Williams, Wise, VA; and Mrs. Mollie Gay Kelly, Pound, VA; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Sparkman, Richlands, VA; and Mrs. Beulah Astorburg, Cloyis, California; 35 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Pound, VA. The Rev. James Short and the Rev. Kermit Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery at Pound.

O'Dell Funeral Home at Pound is in charge of arrangements.
