Went away to college fm N. Dakota to the U. of Washinton and became an Alpha Delta Phi in the late 1920's. After graduating, she said goodbye to her boyfriend Bill Gill and accepted a job in Anchorage as a school teacher. On the boat to Alaska, met a Verneita Herron who later became her roommate at the Parson's Hotel, who then went on to become her sister in law as Verneita married Phil Gill. After moving to Anchorage, Evaline was reading a letter from the boyfriend Bill Gill when a second Bill Gill asked her out. This was the man she married. What a coincidence! They were married in the Parson's Hotel in 1932. Evaline never loved another man after Bill died in their bed when a blood clot moved to his heart. She raised her two kids and retired as a california school teacher in 1969. She was a Neptunian club member for over 20 yrs and a PEO member for 50 yrs. For her 90th birthday next week we are taking her to Vegas..as we always do on her B-day.

"You will never know how much this whole family means to me. Not only in this last adventure but in all the many things you do for me all of the time. I consider myself blessed to have you all these years thru' the good and sometimes the bad. Just had to tell you all this. You are my life and I am so proud of you all. My gratitude and love forever. Mom n Gram"
