VIRGINIA - Anna E. Lowe, 80, of Virginia died Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.
She was born May 11, 1934, in Cass County, the daughter of Albert and Laura Eagle Walton. She married Wayne Lowe on October 30, 1954, in Virginia and he survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Helen Roudebush, Ethel Anderson, Pauline Dahme and Mabel Walton; and two brothers, Marion and Bradley Walton.
Mrs. Lowe was a 1952 graduate of Virginia High School and had been employed in past years at Virginia Country Club, Capitol Records and Barton W. Stone Home prior to her years as a homemaker. She was a member of Jacksonville Assembly of God Church and had devoted many hours to supporting the church's mission work.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Virginia with burial at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Virginia. The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Monday until the time of services. Memorial gifts are suggested to Jacksonville Assembly of God Church.
