Mary Helen Darnell, age 80 of Wappapello, died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at St. Francis Regional Health Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born May 15, 1934 at Poplar Bluff. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 422 at Puxico and attended Little Brushy Missionary Baptist Church. On April 27, 1963 she married Harold Darnell. He preceded her in death on February 6, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents C. L and Ada Walker Adamson, one brother and five sisters.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Richard Blagg and Rev. Tim Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Little Brushy Cemetery at Wappapello.
