He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Merchant Marine.
He is pre-deceased by his wife and their daughter, Lori Ware Workman, and his sister Anna Walling.He is survived by: his sons, Joseph N Ware, Jr.(Mary) and Lewis Ware(Gayle); his brother, Howard Ware; grandchildren Shari Samuelson, Michael Ware(Lisa), Kristi Ware and Joey Ware; 4 great grandchildren and several other famiily members.
