Emil Baumler a resident of this township for many years died at the home of his son. in Aurora, Wis... on Saturday Morning.
Mr. Baumler was born in Germany in 1849, and came to America when he was still a very young man. For the past two years he has been contracting in Iron Mountain, painting and paper hanging being his trade. Pneumonia being the cause of his demise. The body arrived here on Tuesday. The funeral was conducted by the Rev. Thomas Pastor of the Morvarian Church. Burial was made in the Oakwood cemetery on Tuesday.
Besides his wife he leaves 3 daughters, Mrs. Theodore Linke of New York, Mrs. Max Kayser, Chicago, Mrs. Charles Crain, Oregon, Five sons, Charles and Emil of Iron Mountain: Otto, William and Cort of Daggett. Many grand and great grand children also survive.
Mr. Baumler was 75 years, three months and 26 days old at the time of his death.
